They have a dress code to which most people adhere. For a special occasion this is a nice place to say you've been but there are many other options in Nashville where the food is significantly better. The magic show was excellent-all 3 of the performers we saw were outstanding. They were good but not that good! Patterson House IS that good. That is unquestionably something that should never happen-let alone at a place that charges well above average for the food. My scallops had potential but had sand in 2 of the 3 pieces. The waiter gets you when the food is at the table-which is fine in theory-it was warm but by no means hot. There are 2 places to go check out magic but it was very crowded so we could not see much. They claim to have valet parking but we could not find anyone to take care of us and had to go to the garage near by. We were a bit put off when it was so difficult to find a sign for the place-it's very discreetly hidden at the Johnny Cash Museum.

I wouldn't waste my money on this place when there are so many great restaurants in Nashville. They need to inform you of what time the shows are when you make a reservation so one could plan accordingly. The prices are ridiculous for what they serve. To my surprise, there was only 2 which were all fat. I specially asked how many lamb chops was being served and they told me 4. We could only stay for a few minutes since they told us our food was coming which was still late. We quickly ate our mediocre appetizers and ran into the show. By the time we sat down and was ignored by our waiter for 15 minutes, we were told that we would miss the first show. Really? This is not that fancy of a restaurant. When we finally found the place, we were informed that we had to wear a jacket and dress shoes. It is hard to find since there is no sign in front. They even called me to confirm and once again never said a word. They never said there was a formal dress code. Reservations required for dining room, walk-ins welcome at bar subject to dress code.ĭon't waste your money at this restaurant! First of all, I made reservations on the phone.
